Kale started riding at a young age, but never hopped on a mountain bike or was introduced to much trail riding until she was about nine years old. She competed in a handful of local cross-country races near her home in Maine, and at the age of 10 – competed in her first Eastern States Cup enduro at Killington, VT. She immediately fell in love with riding her bike as fast as she could down the gnarliest trails her bike could handle. In 2018 she competed in the Amateur Women’s division of the ESC’s enduro series and finished the season First overall. The following year she entered the same division and stood at the top step of the podium in all but one race – setting an Eastern States Cup record perfect points total for the series and taking the overall once again. In 2020 – at 13 years old – Kale moves into the Pro division for the ESC.
Kale’s father is her head – and only – mechanic, and her main riding partner when not riding with friends. She is supported wholeheartedly by her family, friends, and local riding community. When asked what her goals are for this year it’s simple, “I just want to ride bikes with my friends and have fun!” No points chasing, she’s never used Stava, never had a training program. Ride bikes. Have fun. Simple but effective – Kale’s recipe for success.

Just give him a bike and he is at home. Noah also likes to build and maintain his local trails. When not on a bike he can usually be found skiing glades at Magic or MRG, surfing or camping.
