It’s been a year since we kicked off this adventure and its been pretty amazing so far. Lots of racing, lots of digging, more riding and road trips than we could have ever imagined. All with some of the best people you’ll ever meet on a bike or behind a flatty. As we head into our second year we are making a few changes to the site and the product line. While we are working behind the scenes over here to get the new hotness out the door, you can follow us over on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to stay up to date with our latest events and projects.

Our factory rider, Riley Weidman, had one hell of a season after moving up to Cat 1 Women for the Eastern States Cup. Not only did she take the overall podium for the  Atlantic Downhill USAC Regional Championship Series, she also took 4th and repped us on the podium at the East Coast Super DH Championships USAC Regional Championship Race! We are so proud of what Riley and Scurvy Dogs have managed to accomplish together this year and can’t wait to see what we can do next year in the Pros.

This October we hosted the first North Park Frienduro! Ride as part of our local IMBA chapter, Trail Pittsburgh‘s 10th Annual Trail Fest. It was a great day of climbing (kind of) slowly and bombing down all the best downhills in the trail system. We hit about half the nearly 40 miles of trails including Dr J Trail, the first public, legal freeride trail in the state of Pennsylvania. Be sure to check out your local IMBA chapter to learn about great events and how to give back to the trails in your local area.

Road trips rule. Getting out of your comfort zone on your local trails, meeting new riders and builders, getting new ideas to bring back and of course, camping. This summer we hit bike parks and trail systems all over the country, from Crested Butte to the Northeast Kingdom. Thanks to our friends over at MTBparks.com and their amazing MTBparks Pass we got to hit parks all over for a day of free riding at each. This is the second year they offered the pass and we can not recommend it enough.
